Myth: Faux Leather, Leatherette, Synthetic Leather, Artificial Leather or any other such fancy name that represents anything but Real Leather is good for the consumer, pollution-free and saves our planet.
Fact # 1: Industrial non-Leather materials (usually cheaper than the actual leather) are non-breathable and hence harmful to the consumer. They also add irreparable damage to Mother Earth as they are not Bio-Degradable.
Fact # 2: Real Leather is breathable and hence consumer friendly. Also it is Bio-Degradable, although it does cost pollution during tanning process, just like any other industrial production.
Fact # 3: No animal is slaughtered to obtain leather. Leather is the secondary product. Animal slaughtering is part of Food-Chain and happens primarily for meat consumption.

This collection is based on real leather, but a very unique one, that is tanned in Eco-friendly process called Vegetable Tanning. This is the ancient way of tanning leather, before Chrome-Tanning was introduced as a common industrial tanning process. Vegetable Tanned leather is therefore less polluting and more Organic & Natural in character.
